Have you ever torn an ACL, meniscus or another major supportive structure to the knee?  Did you know you could have prevented this injury in the first place?  Did you know that 1 in 100 high school females will suffer a serious knee injury each year?  Did you know females are 2-10x more likely to tear and ACL as comapred to their male counterparts?  That’s why we have implimented Sportsmetrics at Kinetic Physical Therapy.  Sportsmetrics is the first scientifically proven program in the world that reduces the risk of knee injuries in female athletes.  Sportsmetrics is not just your average run of the mill plyometric program but rather it is a comprehensive program that aims to reduce the risk of serious knee injuries by correcting biomechanical faults along with increased performance at the same time.

Sportsmetrics combines dynamic warm-up techniques, flexibility, strength training, plyometric training and speed and agility training in order to optimze time, effort while being one of the most effective forms of knee injury prevention available to the public.  If you have already suffered a serious knee injury or you would like more information about setting up an in-service on Sportsmetrics for your team, please contact Rick Daigle, Director of Kinetic Physical Therapy (rick@kineticpt.com).  Rick is not only a Certified Sportsmetrics Instructor, but he had the opportunity to intern for an extended period of time with the creator of Sportsmetrics, Frank Noyes, MD at Cincinnati Sports Medicine.
